Leave A Footprint…

Wow!

As most of you know I rarely use this website to promote my own personal interests or outside businesses. I am going to make an exception here in order to tell you about a wonderful and inspirational couple I just had the privilege to spend a week with in the sunny Caribbean. Their names are Linda and Jan Mulder and they run an operation called Leave a Footprint.

Linda and Jan organize running cruises throughout the Caribbean. Not new! There are other companies doing this… however Jan and Linda go a couple of levels above the others (this is what got me excited) All of the runs are in partnership with local running groups and all of the profits earned from the sale of the run packages goes into the local communities. Most of which are in dire need. Even Aruba a fairly well off island had a very appreciative group in need. The boys and girls scouts.

I have not had time to truly organize and label all of the photos from this great experience.  However, if you flip through the book below you will see some of the people and scenery.
